OMEGA’s multi-tube Variable Area Flow Meters are convenient for applications where up to four streams of liquids or gases are to be metered in individual channels. Two frame flow patterns are available, with either individual channel measurement (frame A) or multiple inlets manifolded into one outlet (frame B). Frame B type units can also be inverted in the field, so that a single inlet can be split off into multiple outlets. Precision metering valves with 16 turn non-rising stems are also available (consult Sales). The FL-2AA series Variable Area Flow Meters utilize the interchangeable FLT Series series 150 mm flow tubes, which provides for maximum flexibility, with 9 different sizes and 5 different floats available; there are 43 possible tube/float combinations available for each tube.
