The LD300 Series provides our longest stroke length, up to ±300 mm (12 inches), based on the established linear variable differential transformer principle. LVDT’s, which are ac powered, ultimately produce the best accuracy using remote electronics. Special winding techniques are used to ensure the best possible linearity. The components are then packaged in a rugged housing and the transformer core is provided with an extension rod and very low friction nylon bearings that act as guides. The transducer is provided with a spring return armature, and is easily adapted to most industrial measurement situations. Due to their inherent long life, infinite resolution, versatility, and excellent repeatability, these units are highly suitable for many varied and demanding industrial applications.
